Families are advised that the School Locker Upper Coomera State College Campus Store will transition to a fully cashless payment system from Tuesday 1 September 2026.
From this date, cash will no longer be accepted for purchases at the Campus Store. Students, staff and families will instead be able to pay using debit or credit cards and digital wallets.
A safer and more efficient experience
The transition is designed to create a safer, more efficient and convenient experience for everyone who uses the Campus Store.
Reducing the handling and storage of cash on site helps improve security, while cashless transactions can also provide faster checkout times for students and staff.
The change also supports staff health and wellbeing by reducing the physical handling of cash and the pressures associated with cash management, reconciliation and security.
What families need to know
From 1 September 2026:
- Cash will no longer be accepted at the Upper Coomera State College Campus Store.
- Purchases can be made using debit cards, credit cards or digital wallets.
- Clear signage will be displayed in the Campus Store to support the transition.
- Store staff will be available to assist customers with information about the new arrangements.
- Online ordering will continue to be available for uniforms, stationery and other essentials.
Families are encouraged to discuss the change with students who regularly make purchases at the Campus Store so they are prepared for the new payment arrangements.
