Welcome to the Upper Coomera State College community, a co-educational Prep to Year 12 College located in the Northern Gold Coast, one of the fastest growing regions of Australia. The College attracts 1,760 students who all enjoy and value learning, strive to achieve their best and are active members of a safe, supportive and positive school community.
The College motto, 'Learning Pathways to the Future' reflects our commitment to working in partnership with families to ensure every child has a quality education, which prepares them for a positive future. We pride ourselves as a leader in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education, sporting excellence and the arts, providing innovative, academically challenging, engaging and inspiring learning pathways for high achieving students. Upon completion at Upper Coomera State College, students will be equipped with the confidence and lifelong skills to succeed in their chosen pathways.
The College has a very clear improvement agenda that focuses on the four priority areas of:
(1) Supporting the wellbeing of all
(2) Cultivating a culture of learning
(3) Differentiation
(4) Australian first nations perspectives
Through our improvement agenda, we aim to continually improve the culture of learning and the outcomes that children achieve. We do so within a caring, nurturing learning environment that values diversity, promotes international mindedness and is respectful and accepting of others.
UCSC is committed to addressing the learning and developmental needs of each and every one of our students, and provide individualised curriculum from Prep right through to Year 12, offering a range of curricular and extra-curricular programs to cater for the needs of each student.
Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will ever make and we strongly believe that Upper Coomera State College has the right blend of academic, sporting and cultural experiences for your child.
