The Dress Code Policy outlines the standards of acceptable dress within Upper Coomera State College.
Regular attendance and punctuality are important characteristics of successful students. Being on time and prepared to learn gives everyone the best chance of success in the classroom.
It is important that students, staff and parents/carers have a shared understanding of the importance of attending school.
The P-12 Academic Policy provides direction for the
development, administration, and reporting of curriculum, pedagogy, student
assessment and outcomes. Adherence to this policy will ensure that students are
treated consistently, fairly and equitably when preparing for and completing
assessment tasks.
Homework provides students with opportunities to consolidate their classroom learning, pattern behaviour for lifelong learning beyond the classroom and involve family members in their learning. The setting of homework takes into account the need for students to have a balanced lifestyle. This includes sufficient time for family, recreation, cultural pursuits and employment where appropriate.

Its purpose is to facilitate high standards of behaviour from all in the College community, ensuring teaching and learning in our school is prioritised, where all students are able to experience success and staff enjoy a safe workplace.
This Parent & Community Code of Conduct sets out the responsibilities and processes we use in our College to ensure that our community members understand what is expected of them whilst on College grounds, at school activities and when interacting with others in the school community. The Parent & Community Code of Conduct sits alongside our Student Code of Conduct and the Code of Conduct for the Queensland Public Service, which applies to all staff.
