Work experience is an opportunity for students to explore career options and discover opportunities on offer in their chosen field of employment.

It is an ideal opportunity to develop skills and networks and learn about the world of work, and also provides students with skills that will be valuable in the workforce as well as a great addition to their resumes.

Upper Coomera State College offers work experience to year 10 students in Term 2. Students are required to fill in a work book whilst at work experience, which is signed by the employer.

Students from years 10, 11 and 12 can also access work experience at any time of the year either as a one week block, during the school holidays or one day per week. All work experience must be approved by the school.

If you are interested in supporting our students by providing them work experience, please contact Lynn Davies, Industry Liaison Officer for more information via email: ldavi157@eq.edu.au
