At Upper Coomera State College we are committed in enacting the DoE Inclusive Education Policy through we are committed to enabling students to access and participate in a high-quality education and be fully engaged in the curriculum alongside their similar-aged peers.  We do this through co-planning, co-teaching, communication and leading, fostering and modelling inclusive practices. Our team of Inclusion Team value respectful relationships, empathy and team work.  These values underpin the way in which we work alongside our colleagues in building inclusive practices.

'Inclusive education means that students can access and fully participate in learning, alongside their similar-aged peers, supported by reasonable adjustments and teaching strategies tailored to meet their individual needs. Inclusion is embedded in all aspects of school life, and is supported by culture, policies and every day.'
