Important Information for this year’s Primary and Secondary Swimming Carnival!
We’re excited to announce that this year’s swimming carnival will once again include both Primary and Secondary events!
Here’s what you need to know:
Swimming Carnival Date: Tuesday, October 15th
For Permission Notes and Nomination Forms: Please contact your teacher directly.
Payment and Permission Notes Due: Thursday, October 10th
Nomination Closes: Tuesday, October 8th (1 week prior)
Note: This new deadline applies to primary school students only.
To swim in 50m events, students MUST:
-Nominate using the form
-Confidently swim 50m without stopping
Have the form signed by a parent/guardian and returned by the nomination closing date
NEW THIS YEAR!
Nomination Form: For primary school students only
-25m Events: Freestyle and Backstroke for all students, focusing on participation points to help determine the house champion.
-50m Events: Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke & Butterfly for students aiming for age champion and/or qualifying for District Broadwater.
-Must confidently swim 50m without stopping.
