Dear parents and carers
As you would be aware, Tropical Cyclone Alfred is forecast to cross the Southeast Queensland coast later this week.
Our school will remain open tomorrow, Wednesday 5th March, 2025.
Further information on the status of our school for Thursday 6th March and Friday 7th March will be provided after midday tomorrow, Wednesday 5th March.
At this stage it appears that landfall may be between Brisbane to Noosa late Thursday evening or early Friday morning. This will be the first time a cyclone has crossed the coast in this area for decades, so we are taking a number of precautions to ensure students and staff remain safe.
For weather warnings and preparations, families are encouraged to visit

I will keep you informed as we go through this event together and please don’t hesitate to contact our school. Our thoughts are with you all and our school community at this time.
