Hannah Henderson

Hannah Henderson attended UCSC and graduated in 2012. Hannah became a Surf Instructor after having the opportunity to do a traineeship through the school and gained her level 3 certificate at the age of 17.

Since leaving UCSC Hannah has moved back home to NZ to pursue her love of acting and was cast in the MTV TV Series The Shannara Chronicles which is due for release in the US in January 2016.

Being Crowned 1st Runner Up Miss Universe NZ has capped off what can only be described as an amazing year for this former student and teenager.

Sarah Foxe

Sarah Foxe, a UCSC graduate recently visited our RISE students to provide her 'Insights to Academic Success'.

Sarah spoke to our secondary students about her experiences in University so far. It was great to see the students engaged and open up to Sarah, asking questions about what life is like once venturing into the real world. Sarah is now into her third year of university, studying a Bachelor of Education and is loving it

Marlehna Walker

Marlehna Walker graduated from UCSC in 2012 and went on to study Criminology and Psychological Science. Marlehna completed a 'Student for a Semester' whilst studying at UCSC, which gave her the opportunity to get a headstart on her university studies before they finish high school.

Marlehna speaks very highly of her time at UCSC, mentioning that her cohort were always very close, and she still has several friends that she keeps in regular contact with.

Marlehna was recently awarded with the Vice Chancellors Award, which is only awarded to those students who have achieved in the top 5% of their cohort. We are very proud of Marlehna's achievements, and are excited to watch as you progress through your career journey.
